Sports creators needed a faster way to publish and monetize paid picks than a full marketplace flow. The experience had to work primarily on mobile, feel instant, and still support pricing, delivery, subscriptions, and trust signals.
The Solution
I shaped QuickPicks as a dedicated creator funnel on top of Unlocker: fast pick creation, public purchase pages, shareable creator profiles, checkout and recovery flows, and lightweight dashboards for both creators and admins.
What I Built
- Quick pick creation flow with structured event metadata, pricing, discounts, and instant publishing.
- Mobile-first public pick pages with countdowns, bankroll and odds bands, shareable links, and Stripe checkout.
- Creator bio pages and expert discovery flows that turn social traffic into paid pick purchases.
- Account dashboards for picks, purchases, subscribers, payouts, and creator-side performance tracking.
- OTP, social, and passkey authentication with pending-pick recovery so creators can start before signing in.
- Admin tooling for users, cappers, purchases, sports, platform settings, and moderation workflows.
Key Product Challenges
Fast creation without losing structure
The product had to feel as quick as posting on social while still collecting enough structured data for pricing, scheduling, and delivery.
Mobile checkout conversion
The purchase flow needed to stay lightweight on mobile and still communicate urgency, credibility, and what the buyer unlocks.
Shared platform, focused experience
QuickPicks sits inside the broader Unlocker system, so the UI and APIs had to stay streamlined without duplicating core marketplace capabilities.
